Avis Van Rental Eastern Cape really does try harder. We have invested close to R10million to include trucks in our fleet, offering you a wider range of commercial vans, bakkies and trucks. We offer hassle free delivery throughout the Eastern Cape, and back it up with support from our nationwide Avis Customer Service Centre.

Our extended fleet includes more than 250 vehicles ranging from Half Ton Utility Vans to 8 Ton Open and Closed Trucks.

Our premises couldn’t contain the Avis Van Rental Team any longer – so we’ve moved on to somewhere bigger and better! Avis Van Rental Eastern Cape has flourished so we’ve had to relocate to bigger premises to accommodate our expanded fleet and staff.

From humble beginnings in 1999, the Eastern Cape Team has expanded to branches in East London, Mthatha and Queenstown. And now that we have expanded our fleet it was time to find larger and more secure premises for the vehicles. Avis Van Rental Eastern Cape Head Office and the PE branch have moved to 125 Albert Road in Walmer.

The result is a better experience for both our customers and our staff. Our fleet isn’t all that we’ve added to the team. With the increased number of vehicles came the need for a Fleet Manager who could manage the fleet, and concentrate on the movement of vehicles. Ian Grebe, who started with Avis as a Rental Sales Agent four years ago in Queenstown, has been promoted and assigned the responsibility of maintaining the entire Eastern Cape fleet.
